for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 7 to
remove the encroachment of ongoing construction of temple in
Public/Government Poromboke Land comprised in the S.No.132 of
Kondaiyampalli Village, Gangavalli Taluk, Salem District and to take
action against the respondents 8 to 15 for harassing me and my family
members on the basis of my representation dated 20.03.2026.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by S.M.Subramaniam, J.)
With reference to the relief sought for in the present writ petition,
the Tahsildar, Gangavalli filed a status report. A reading of the status
report would show that survey and field enquiry was conducted by the
Tahsildar and the authorities found the following position emerged:
a) As per revenue records, viz., ‘A’ Register of
Kondaiyampalli Village, S.No.132/1 measuring an
extent of 0.09.0 Hectare is classified as ‘Government
Poramboke – Pathway’ (Arasu Puramboke-Pathai).
b) As on the date of survey (12.05.2026), no
temple or any other permanent/temporary construction
was found to have been put up as encroachment in the
said S.No.132/1.

6.I respectfully submit that in view of the above
field verification, the allegation of encroachment in
S.No.132/1 as levelled by the writ petitioner in his writ
petition is found to be not factually sustainable and is
contrary to the ground reality and revenue records.
3.In view of the fact that no encroachment has been identified in
S.No.132 of Kondaiyampalli Village, Gangavalli Taluk, Salem District, no
further adjudication is required.
4.Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
