ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by S.M.Subramaniam J.)
With reference to the relief sought for in the present writ petition,
the learned Additional Government Pleader, based on the written
instructions given by the Tahsildar, Kizhvelur, dated 31.10.2026, would
submit that revenue authorities conducted survey, identified
encroachments and issued Form I notice to the Block Development

Officer. The Block Development Officer / 2 respondent has to initiate
enforcement action for removal of encroachments by following the
procedures as contemplated under the relevant statutes and rules.
2. In view of the said submission, respondents 2 and 3 are directed
to proceed with the enforcement action and remove the encroachments
by following the procedures as contemplated under the Act and rules.
The entire exercise is directed to be completed within a period of twelve
weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No
