the published rank list call the petitioner for certificate verification for
appointment to the post of Junior Rehabilitation Officer under the Category of
Differently Abled Person and issue further direction to appoint the petitioner to
the post of Junior Rehabilitation Officer in the 1st respondent Department on
the basis of consideration of the representation dated 31/10/2023.

ORDER
When the matter was taken up, the learned counsel for the petitioner
brought to the attention of this Court that during the pendency of the present
writ petition, the petitioner participated in another recruitment process and was
selected as Assistant Director, (IEC), ICDS, Tharamani, Chennai-113, vide
G.O.Ms.No.82 dated 28.07.2025.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in view of the
petitioner’s appointment through a different recruitment process, the petitioner
is not willing to pursue the present writ petition.

3. In such view of the above submission, the present Writ Petition stands
