Heard.
2. Learned counsel for the applicants submitted that the
respondent department has not treated the period of halt at
destination as duty for the purpose of calculation of overtime
allowance in respect of the applicants. It is further submitted by the
applicants’ counsel that the issue regarding grant of overtime
allowance/wages has already been agitated by similarly placed
employees at different Benches of this Tribunal, which was disposed
of with a directions to consider the case of the applicants for
overtime allowances. Counsel for the applicants further submitted
that the applicants have filed a combined representation dated

of overtime allowance/wages to the applicants, which is still pending
consideration before the respondent department. The counsel for the
applicants further submits that this Original Application may be
disposed of in the light of directions given by various Benches of
this Tribunal to the competent authority of the respondents to
consider and decide their representation in accordance with law

within a time frame.

3. Learned counsel for the respondents submitted that the
respondents have no objection in deciding the pending
representation of the applicants in a time bound manner as per law.
4. In view of the above submissions made by the learned
counsel for the parties, this Original Application is disposed of at
the admission stage itself with a direction to the competent
authority of the respondents to consider and decide the applicants’
representation dated 14.08.2026 (Annexure A/1) in the light of
directions given by various Benches of this Tribunal by passing a
reasoned and speaking order, within a period of 30 days from the

date of receipt of a copy of this order.
