ASSAM CLASSICAL - INSTITUTIONS (SANSKRIT AND PALI-PRAKRIT) .(PROVINCIALISATION) ACT

Received the assent of the Governor on 26th March, 1996 and published in Assam Gazette Extra. No. 46 dated 26.3.96 p. 291-298. Notification No. LGL. 192/95/61. - The following Act of the Assam Legislative Assembly which received the assent of the Governor is hereby published for general information. An Act to provide for provincialisation of services of teaching and non-teaching staff of classical (Sanskrit and Pali-Prakrit Institutions and the Assam Sanskrit Board in the State of Assam. Preamble. - Whereas it is expedient to provide for provincialisation of services of teaching and non-teaching staff of Classifical (Sanskrit and Pali-Prakrit) Institutions for its improvement and for better management and control of such Education in the State of Assam. It is hereby enacted in the Forty-seventh Year of the Republic of India as follows :
