Assam Court Fees (Amendment) Act, 1954

Published in the Assam Gazette, dated the 8th September, 1954. [Received the assent of the Governor of Assam on the 29th August, 1954] An Act further to amend the Court-Fees Act, 1870 (Act 7 of 1870) with reference to the scale of Court-Fees in Assam. Preamble. - Whereas it is necessary to amend the Court-Fees Act, 1870 (Act 7 of 1870) hereinafter called the Principal Act, in its application to Assam, in the manner hereinafter appearing; It is hereby enacted in the Fifth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-
