Assam Shops and Establishments Act, 1971

An Act to consolidate and amend the law relating to the regulations of conditions of work and employment in shops and commercial establishments and establishments for public entertainment or amusement in the State of Assam. Whereas it is expedient to consolidate and amend the law relating to the regulation of condition of work and employment in shops and commercial establishments and establishments for public entertainment or amusement in the State of Assam. It is hereby enacted in the Twenty-second Year of the Republic of India as follows:-
