Gujarat Local Authorities Census Expenses Contribution Act, 1950

For Statement of Objects and Reasons, see Bombay Government Gazette, 1950, Part V, pp. 201-202. The Act was extended to, and, shall in virtue of such extension be in force in the rest of the State of Bombay (vide Bom. 68 of 1959, s. 2). An Act to provide for contribution by local authorities to census expenses. Whereas it is expedient to make provision for contribution by local authorities of a portion of the expenses incurrent in connection with the taking of any census of the State of Bombay and for certain other purposes hereinafter appearing ; It is hereby enacted as follows :-
