Received the assent of the Governor on the 25th October, 1997, assent first published in the "Madhya Pradesh Gazette (Extra-ordinary)", dated the 29th October, 1997. An Act to establish and incorporate a teaching and residential [Law Institute University] [Substituted by M.P. Act No. 18 of 1998.] in the State of Madhya Pradesh and to provide for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. Be it enacted by the Madhya Pradesh Legislature in the Forty-eighth year of the Republic of India as follows :-
