Maharashtra Revenue Patels (Abolition of Office) Act, 1962

An Act to abolish the office of revenue patels whether hereditary or stipendiary and to abolish watans appertaining to the office of hereditary patel. Whereas, it is expedient to abolish the office of revenue patels whether hereditary or stipendiary, and to abolish watans appertaining to the office of hereditary patel; It is hereby enacted in the Thirteenth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-
