Tamil Nadu Private universities Act, 2019
An Act to establish and incorporate in the State of Tamil Nadu, the Green field Universities of unitary nature in private sector by the sponsoring body viz. Trusts or Societies or not for profit companies to promote, conceptualize and bring about a paradigm shift through development of outstanding leadership, research, knowledge and ideas for education and allied development sectors and also to provide world class Higher Educational Institutions in the State.
