Assent of the President was published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, dated the 17th July, 1980. An Act to provide for the acquisition of the undertaking of the Great Eastern Hotel Limited. Whereas it is expedient to provide for the acquisition of the undertaking of the Great Eastern Hotel Limited for the purpose of ensuring better facilities for board and lodging to the members of the public and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto; It is hereby enacted as follows:-
