Assent of the President was first published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, dated the 7th March, 1978. An Act to provide for the taking over, in the public interest, of the management of the undertaking of the institution known as the Indian College of Arts and Draftsmanship at 139, Dharamtola Street, Calcutta, for a limited period, with a view to ensuring proper management thereof for promotion of art and culture, and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto; Whereas it is expedient to provide for the taking over, in the public interest, of the management of the undertaking of the institution known as the Indian College of Arts and Draftsmanship at 139, Dharamtola Street, Calcutta, for a limited period, with a view to ensuring proper management thereof for promotion of art and culture, and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto; It is hereby enacted as follows :-
