Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya Act, 2000

Assent of the Governor first published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, of 22nd August, 2000. An Act to provide for the establishment of a University for the development of agriculture and for the furtherance of the advancement of learning and prosecution of research and extension in agriculture and allied sciences in West Bengal. Whereas it is expedient to provide for the establishment of a University for the development of agriculture and for the furtherance of the advancement of learning and prosecution of research and extension in agriculture and allied sciences in West Bengal; It is hereby enacted as follows :-
