[No. 32 of 1992] An Act to amend and consolidate the law relating to prisons and persons detained therein in West Bengal. Whereas it is expedient to amend and consolidate the law relating to prisons and persons detained therein in West Bengal and to provide for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto; It is hereby enacted in the Forty-third Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:—
