Assent of the Governor was first published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, dated the 3rd April. 1975. An Act to establish a Council of Higher Secondary Education in the State of West Bengal, to define the powers and functions of such Council and to provide for certain matters connected therewith. Whereas it is expedient to establish a Council of Higher Secondary Education in the State of West Bengal, to define the powers and functions of such Council and to provide for certain matters connected therewith; It is hereby enacted as follows:-
