Assent of the President was first published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, dated the 30th March, 1950. An Act to provide for the maintenance of a fire brigade, for the licensing of warehouses and for certain other matters. Whereas it is expedient to provide for the maintenance of a fire brigade, for the licensing of warehouses and for certain other matters; It is hereby enacted as follows :-
