Assent of the President first published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, dated the 8th September, 1965. An Act to provide for the requisition and speedy acquisition of fisheries for the purposes of improvement or development of such fisheries and supplying fish to the public therefrom. Whereas it is expedient in the public interest to provide for the requisition and speedy acquisition of fisheries for the purposes of improvement or development of such fisheries and supplying fish to the public therefrom: It is hereby enacted as follows:-
