West Bengal Land ( Requisition And Acquisition ) ( Validation Of Orders ) Act, 1965

Assent of the President was first published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, dated the 19th March, 1965. An Act to validate certain orders made by the First Land Acquisition Collector, Calcutta, under sub-section (1) of section 3 of the West Bengal Land (Requisition and Acquisition) Act, 1948. Whereas it is expedient to validate certain orders made by the First Land Acquisition Collector, Calcutta, under sub-section (1) of section 3 of the West Bengal Land (Requisition and Acquisition) Act, 1948, requisitioning lands in Calcutta for the purpose of creation of better living conditions in certain areas in Calcutta by the construction or reconstruction of dwelling places for people residing in such areas ; It is hereby enacted as follows :-
