Assent of the President first published in the Calcutta Gazette. Extraordinary, dated the 26th April, 1979. An Act to consolidate and amend the law relating to imposition and levy of tax on motor vehicles in the State of West Bengal. Whereas it is expedient to consolidate and amend the law relating to imposition and levy of tax on motor vehicles in the State of West Bengal; It is hereby enacted as follows:-
