Assent of the Governor was first published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, dated the 31st March. 1985. An Act to provide for the levy of a tax on goods and passengers carried in goods vehicles and stage carriages in the State of West Bengal. Whereas it is expedient to provide for the levy of a tax on goods and passengers carried in goods vehicles and stage carriages in the State of West Bengal; It is hereby enacted as follows:-
