Assent of the Governor was first published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, dated the 20th July, 1994. An Act to consolidate and amend the laws relating to the holding of elections to the Municipalities in West Bengal. Whereas it is expedient to consolidate and amend the laws relating to the holding of elections to the Municipalities in West Bengal; It is hereby enacted as follows:-
