Assent of the Governor first published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary of the 17th April, 1995. An Act to provide for the establishment and incorporation of a University of Animal and Fishery Sciences in West Bengal. Whereas it is expedient to establish and incorporate a University in West Bengal for providing facilities for the study of animal and fishery sciences and for conduct of researches in, and extension and development of, those sciences; It is hereby enacted as follows :-
