Appeal dismissed as withdrawn following the parties’ amicable settlement.

The appellant, Ashwani Kumar Rajput, filed First Appeal No. 215 of 2018 before the High Court of Chhattisgarh against Surajbali Kashyap and other respondents, including the State of Chhattisgarh.

During the pendency of the appeal, the appellant filed I.A. No. 7 of 2026 seeking withdrawal of the appeal on the ground that the parties had arrived at an amicable settlement.

The Court therefore did not adjudicate the merits of the underlying dispute and confined its order to disposal of the appeal and the interlocutory application.

Consequently, I.A. No. 7 of 2026 was disposed of.
